The stroke of midnight is when the Greeps return from their nocturnal activities, land in the tops of clabber trees, and discuss the evening's activities. Thus generally ends their brief activity period, which lasts no more than four hours after dark. During this period they can be found foraging within fields of cassava and kapok, though the Greeps can occasionally be found in local diners eating salad and drinking puckle juice.
