It's always quite a scene when Big Brunson Snuggett comes to town. People gawk, people run, moms hurry their children into their houses. This makes Brunson sad. But Brunson does have a lot of friends who come out to greet him when they find out he's in town. Bartholomew Kloesterhop is especially glad to see Brunson - not just for the engaging conversations and shared laughs they have, but Mr. Kloesterhop owns the grocery store where Brunson shops, and the prodigious amount of food Brunson buys makes up about 25% of the store's annual sales.
