In the final scene of the climax of the film, Cecil failed to pull the rope, and that caused the jello mold to slide down the tilted poop deck of the drydocked sloop, flop over the side to splat on and dislodge the chock that was supposed to prevent the dock hanger from rolling down the Castling Street hill, picking up terrific speed on the straightaway before slamming into the low stone wall just to the north of old man Jooink's automotive repair shop, thereby catapulting Cecil and Budgie at least a half mile into the large mushroom patch in the Odan woods, where the Glerms crept out of their glerm burrows to investigate.
Budgie regards Cecil for a moment, and then states, "OF COURSE I meant 'pull the rope', Cecil.  You can't bloody well PUSH one!"
This quote has entered the social vernacular for good, somewhat akin to our, "you're gonna need a bigger boat," "frankly, my dear," or "kiss my grits!"
